Every dating app needs the same things underneath: accounts, photos, matching, chat, moderation, ID checks and payments. And almost every dating company has built them from scratch, then paid a team to keep them alive for years.
That made sense when apps were growing fast. It doesn’t now. Payers are falling, installs cost twice what they did, and safety law keeps adding work. The money spent keeping old plumbing running is money not spent on the brand, the product or the members.
So we built one platform to handle those parts well, ran our own brands on it, and opened it up. Dating API is that platform, for established apps that want out of the infrastructure business and back into the brand business.
