# Dating app subscription prices compared, 2026

**In short:** On 16 October 2026 the US App Store listed Tinder Gold at $13.99 to $24.99, Hinge subscriptions at $14.99 to $34.99, Bumble Premium at $17.99 to $32.99 and Grindr Unlimited at $27.99 to $44.99. eharmony and Match list the highest prices because they sell multi-month plans. UK prices are mostly lower in pounds than in dollars.

On 16 October 2026, the US App Store listed Tinder Gold at $13.99 to $24.99, Hinge subscriptions at $14.99 to $34.99, Bumble Premium at $17.99 to $32.99 and Grindr Unlimited at $27.99 to $44.99 [1][2][3][4]. Relationship services that sell longer plans list far higher prices: eharmony's ran up to $349.99 and Match's up to $129.99 [6][7]. Prices can differ by location, plan length and promotion, and apps may also price differently for different members, for example by age. ## What the list prices show

### Three price bands

The apps fall into three groups.

- **Swipe and social apps with low entry prices.** Badoo, OkCupid and Tinder all list entry tiers under $10 in the US [1][5][8]. Badoo's Premium started at $5.99 [5].
- **Mid-priced subscriptions around $15 to $45.** Hinge, Bumble and Grindr cluster here, with their top tiers at $34.99, $32.99 and $44.99 respectively [2][3][4].
- **Relationship services with long plans.** eharmony and Match list multi-month plans, so their headline prices run into the hundreds [6][7].

### Single purchases are everywhere

Every app we checked except eharmony sells one-off items alongside subscriptions: Boosts, Super Likes, Roses, tokens, coins or credits [1][2][3][4][5][6][8][9][10]. MeetMe's listing is dominated by credit packs, from 200 credits for $1.99 to 13,000 for $99.99 [10]. That reflects a live and social model where members buy credits to send gifts, which we cover in [dating app business models](/insights/dating-app-business-models).

### UK prices are lower in local currency

For the same tiers, UK price points were mostly lower in pounds than the US ones were in dollars. Tinder Plus was £3.99 against $9.99, and Grindr Unlimited topped out at £39.99 against $44.99 [1][4][11][14]. We have not converted currencies. The point is that apps set prices market by market rather than translating one price list.

## List price against what members actually pay

Revenue per payer, which companies report, is a better guide to what members actually spend than any list price.

Hinge members spend close to the top of its listed range each month, while Tinder's average payer spends far below the top Gold price [1][2][19]. Tinder's revenue per payer still rose 4% on a year in the second quarter of 2026 [19]. Revenue per payer is a global average, so lower-priced markets and cheaper tiers pull it below the US list prices.

## How we compiled this

- **Date:** every listing was viewed on 16 October 2026 in the US and UK App Stores [1][11].
- **What the store shows:** each listing shows up to ten in-app purchases with a name and price, chosen by Apple, with no plan length. We grouped them by the tier names as written.
- **Not included:** Google Play prices, web prices and in-app offers, which can be lower. Plan lengths, taxes and introductory discounts are not shown on the listing.
- **Comparisons:** a higher price may be a longer plan rather than a dearer tier, so compare ranges, not single numbers.

## What it means for dating app operators

- **Your price list is public and easy to compare.** Anyone can line up your App Store prices against Hinge or Bumble in minutes, as we did here [2][3]. Make sure your tiers are easy to understand at a glance.
- **Price for the market.** The leading apps use different price points in the UK and the US, not one list in two currencies [1][11]. Price testing by country is a basic tool, not an extra.
- **Sell single purchases as well as subscriptions.** Nearly every major app pairs a subscription with one-off boosts, likes or credits [1][2][3][4]. They catch members who will not commit to a plan.
- **Watch revenue per payer more than list price.** The gap between Tinder's $17.90 a month and its top listed tier shows how far realised prices sit below headline ones [1][19].

The US App Store listed Hinge+ at $16.99 to $19.99 and items called Hinge Subscription at $14.99 to $34.99 on 16 October 2026 [2]. The UK store listed Hinge+ at £12.99 to £14.99 [12].

**Which dating app is the most expensive?**

Of the apps we checked, eharmony listed the highest prices, with Premium light plans up to $349.99 in the US and Premium PLUS up to £349.99 in the UK [7][16]. These are multi-month plans, so they are not directly comparable with weekly or monthly subscriptions.
